(501 [c] 3) organization so your gift is tax-deductible
(Tax ID # 95-2162129). We are most grateful for any assistance you may be willing
to provide.
Scholarships and Sponsorships
Children deserve a chance - a chance to grow, to be accepted, and to make a difference
in their world. Your donation today can help our students make progress toward their
potential. Your contribution may be used for a therapeutic or educational scholarship
for an SLDC student or to help purchase special equipment or supplies.
Tribute Gift
Donations to SLDC can be made in memory of or in honor of a loved one. This is a
great way to send a special note of appreciation to someone special, while making
a difference in a child's life.
Capital Campaign
We are in the midst of a $9.75 million Capital Campaign to build some additional
classrooms and therapy rooms as well as to renovate our original buildings. With
your help, we can continue to make much-needed renovations and expansions on our
campus.
Endowment Fund
Your gift to The Founders Fund helps to build an endowment for SLDC programs. The
principal of this fund remains intact, but the interest provides sustainable support
to vital SLDC programs and services.
Workplace Giving
You can also contribute by designating your United Way Campaign contribution to
SLDC (our United Way Agency Code is 04081). While United Way funds account for less
than one half of 1.0% of our annual budget, the services provided by this donation
are very important to the students who would not otherwise receive that help.
In addition, some companies have a Matching Gift program and will duplicate up to
100% of your contributions.

There are many other ways you can help SLDC and our students.
- An in-kind gift of products or services (as included on our Wish List) will provide
needed items.
- You may participate in one of our Special Events or help underwrite our expenses
